IP Law Podcast Features Stinson's Jeannie Boettler
Stinson LLP Partner Jeannie Boettler is featured on an AccelProTM | IP Law podcast episode, "On Patent Eligibility, Diagnostics and Biotech," which examines the evolving landscape of patent eligibility and its impact on the biotech and pharma sectors.
"One of the biggest things I'm facing is that the patent eligibility standard we now have is extremely different than what we're seeing in Europe, Japan, China, and pretty much every other jurisdiction," Boettler said.
She also provides insight on patent issues unique to diagnostics as opposed to other parts of the biotech and life sciences sectors.
Additionally, Boettler highlights her journey to becoming an attorney who operates in intellectual property spaces and gives advice for those with a science-based background interested in pursuing a career in the legal profession.
Boettler is a registered patent attorney. She blends her experience in life sciences and patent law to prepare and prosecute patent applications and protect clients' intellectual property. Boettler counsels clients on all aspects of patentability, invalidity, freedom-to-operate and other due diligence issues and helps prepare non-infringement and invalidation opinions.
