Evan helps banks and financial institutions achieve their short and long term goals through mergers and acquisitions, bank regulatory matters, commercial lending and other multifaceted transactions.

Overview

Evan focuses on developing strong, collaborative relationships with clients. He counsels financial institutions on a variety of corporate and regulatory matters, including bank mergers and acquisitions, bank regulatory matters, and general corporate law. He also advises financial institutions, as well as other lenders and borrowers, in commercial lending and other financing transactions.

Evan gives back to the community through his immigration pro bono work and serves on the firm's Associate Development and Mentoring Committee and Recruiting Committee.

Experience

Evan advises clients on programs and financings for refund advances, refund anticipation loans, refund transfers and other tax related products, including state RAL/RT facilitator licensing and disclosures.

Evan has extensive experience in preparing regulatory filings with the FDIC, OCC, FRB and various state banking authorities, including bank merger act applications, change in control applications, holding company formations, non-bank affiliate merger applications, conversion applications and branch formation and relocation applications.

Evan advises clients on permitted activities of banks and bank holding companies.

Evan has experience in a range of secured and unsecured finance matters in a variety of industries, including single and multi-lender credit facilities, term loan financing, and revolving credit facilities, which includes drafting and negotiating credit facilities and collateral documents.

Evan advises clients on insurance premium finance lending and state premium finance regulations.
