Colin strives to protect his clients’ brands and ideas and to defend against claims of infringement in a strategic, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
An experienced registered patent attorney and litigator, Colin focuses his practice in intellectual property litigation, trademark prosecution and enforcement, and patent preparation and prosecution.
Colin has considerable experience representing clients in patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright infringement litigation. He also has significant experience in Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings. His experience in handling all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts is extensive. One of his strengths is effectively managing the numerous moving parts associated with complex litigation.
Colin also works with clients in protecting their brands through cease and desist letter campaigns and the preparation and submission of takedown notices to on-line retailers and social media websites. He also provides trademark clearance opinions for marks used in connection with a wide variety of goods and services.

He also helps clients to evaluate whether their products and/or processes pose any risk of patent infringement.
