Ashley's passion for the law shines in every matter she assists on.
Overview
Ashley focuses her practice on business litigation. She has gained valuable experience drafting and editing pleadings, dispositive motions, appellate briefs and memorandum regarding complex litigation issues, conducting fact investigation, efficiently managing and analyzing large amounts of discovery, researching and reviewing corporate and financial compliance practices, and otherwise participating in comprehensive case strategy in the defense of business torts, consumer protection actions, class actions, and other proceedings in state and federal court.
Her additional experience interning with the Honorable Judge Kays of the Federal District Court for the Western District of Missouri, advocating on behalf of clients in UMKC's Mastery of Advocacy Clinic, and collaborating with a team of attorneys and community leaders in UMKC's Entrepreneur Urban Development Clinic, gives her the ability to look at her clients' cases from a variety of perspectives.
