Andrew Leiendecker

Andrew represents clients across the country in complex class actions and commercial disputes, particularly in the insurance, manufacturing, and energy industries. Clients also rely on Andrew to defend against lawsuits brought by state and local governments, navigate aggregate exposure matters, and handle corporate disputes, as well as other intricate commercial litigation.

Andrew has substantial experience representing clients in matters involving claims for fraud, breach of warranty, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, consumer protection, unfair competition, deceptive trade practices, negligence, failure to warn, and various state and federal statutory claims, including False Claims Act litigation. His creativity, written and oral advocacy skills, and extensive knowledge of federal practice and procedure, including complex federal removal and jurisdictional issues, make him a sought-after legal strategist.

Andrew also has extensive appellate experience briefing complex legal issues to the Minnesota Supreme Court, Minnesota Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Ninth Circuits. He also has extensive experience handling federal multi-district litigation (MDL) and mass tort cases.

Additionally, Andrew maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on criminal appeals.

Earlier in his career, Andrew worked at an international law firm, where his practice focused on MDL and government-facing litigation, as well as appellate advocacy.
