Law360 Highlights Growth of Stinson’s Texas Bench with Addition of Mesher and Ghavimi
Law360 highlighted Stinson’s continued growth in Texas with the addition of intellectual property litigators Stewart Mesher and Darlene Ghavimi. The two partners strengthen the firm’s intellectual property and technology practice and expand its capabilities in patent and trademark litigation as Stinson continues to build its presence in the Texas market.
The article includes reflections from Mesher and Ghavimi on joining the firm and what drew them to Stinson. Mesher noted that the firm’s “fully integrated approach with respect to patents and trademarks – from portfolio management to complex high-stakes intellectual property litigation as well as major transactions” was a key factor in his decision.
Ghavimi described the move as an “ideal next step,” pointing to the firm’s “comprehensive approach to intellectual property” and its ability to “seamlessly manage trademark and patent portfolios while also having the trial depth to take on the most challenging disputes.” She also noted the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued growth in Texas.
Mesher represents clients in patent, trademark and copyright disputes, as well as unfair competition and domain name matters, and advises on intellectual property portfolio management and enforcement strategy.
Ghavimi represents clients in high-stakes intellectual property disputes in federal courts nationwide and before the International Trade Commission, handling patent, trademark and copyright litigation as well as proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
