Courtney Harrison Selected to Ingram's 40 Under Forty
Stinson LLP Partner Courtney Harrison has been selected to Ingram's 40 Under Forty Class of 2026. Harrison was selected for her leadership skills, successful litigation track record, achievements within her legal practice and her commitment to community involvement and service.
A strategic and results-oriented litigator and trial attorney, Harrison represents clients in complex litigation, investigations, consumer class actions, and restructuring matters involving significant financial and operational stakes. She advises clients in high-stakes disputes across a range of industries, with experience managing matters involving nationwide class exposure, business-critical investigations, and complex factual and legal issues. Known for her ability to distill challenging disputes into clear and persuasive strategies, she is frequently engaged in matters requiring creative problem-solving, disciplined execution, and effective advocacy.

Harrison has played key roles in several high-profile matters with significant economic impact, including a health care restructuring in which her work helped increase projected recoveries for unsecured creditors from less than 1% to more than 50%, as well as a matter in which she helped secure a transaction that generated more than $125 million in additional value. Her practice also includes significant trial work in both federal and state courts across the country.
Beyond her practice, Harrison maintains a strong commitment to pro bono service, dedicating substantial time each year to representing survivors of domestic and sexual violence. She has supported clients in navigating both criminal and civil legal systems for more than 17 years, reflecting a long-standing commitment to access to justice and advocacy for vulnerable populations. She also is engaged in the arts community through advisory and support roles with local theater organizations.
Ingram's 40 Under Forty is a signature recognition program for young executives, professionals and community leaders under the age of 40 in the Kansas City region. Candidates considered for the program have shown outstanding achievement and promise in the areas of ethics and integrity, leadership skills, achievement in business, entrepreneurship, executive-level managerial status, are members of professional affiliations and associations and have been appointed to boards and commission and have an exceptional commitment to community service.
