Stinson's 2022 IP&T Year-in-Review Includes Strategic Creativity, Continued Innovation

Stinson LLP's Intellectual Property & Technology (IP&T) attorneys remained steadfast in their devotion to helping clients protect and defend their intellectual property assets in 2022, developing and providing strategies that encourage creativity, innovation and growth to suit clients' business objectives.     

In 2022, Stinson's IP&T attorneys filed 553 trademark applications and successfully registered 343 trademarks. The attorneys also filed 767 patent applications and successfully obtained 592 issued patents.

In addition, Stinson's IP&T attorneys managed 5,855 active U.S. trademarks and 6,309 active international trademarks, and 5,358 active U.S. patents and 5,043 active international patents in 2022.

"While the number of patent and trademark applications is a good indicator of the trust our clients place in us to protect their valuable intellectual property; the quality of work we deliver to our clients is our benchmark," Stinson's Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Division Co-Chair Jason Conway said. "Our patents and trademarks withstood numerous challenges from our client's competitors in 2022, and we believe our clients will continue this winning trend in 2023."
