04.18.2023

Stinson LLP Partner Christina Arnone has been selected to Ingram's 40 Under Forty Class of 2023. Arnone was selected for her leadership skills, successful track record, achievements within her legal practice and her remarkable commitment to community involvement and service.

Arnone represents corporate policyholders in complex insurance disputes. She advocates on behalf of businesses to secure insurance recoveries and sues when insurers wrongly refuse coverage. She also provides pre-loss counseling to help clients manage risk by ensuring appropriate coverage and negotiating contractual risk-transfers. Arnone assists clients through all stages of the claims and insurance recovery process for man-made and natural disasters, and has secured recoveries for data breaches and cyber security incidents, fires, floods, product contamination, rioting and civil unrest, structural collapse, a hurricane, and a mass shooting. In addition, Arnone has also served as insurance counsel for creditors' committees in nine mass tort bankruptcies related to clergy sexual abuse, successfully recovering over $250 million in insurance proceeds for the benefit of survivors.

"Christina is a go to insurance lawyer in this region for businesses, and her skills and experience are unparalleled nationally in negotiating insurance-related settlements and bankruptcy plan provisions for sexual abuse survivors," Scott Hecht said, chair of Stinson's business policyholder insurance coverage division.

Beyond her practice, Arnone is deeply involved with the Jackson County Children's Emergency Fund and has served as Chair of the Executive Board since 2015. Established by Judge Henry Riederer in 1958, the Children's Emergency Fund provides critical financial support services for children under the supervision of the Jackson County Family Court System. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the International Relations Council, which works to strengthen Kansas City’s global perspective through programs and events that initiate conversations around global issues and their impact on the Kansas City community and beyond. Arnone is also actively involved in the American Bar Association's Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee and is currently serving as a 2024 meeting co-chair.

Ingram's 40 Under Forty is a signature recognition program for young executives, professionals and community leaders under the age of 40 in the Kansas City region. Candidates considered for the program have shown outstanding achievement and promise in the areas of ethics and integrity, leadership skills, achievement in business, entrepreneurship, executive-level managerial status, are members of professional affiliations and associations and have been appointed to boards and commission, and have an exceptional commitment to community service.
