Grant's deep understanding of each phase of the litigation process allows him to fluently guide clients to comprehensive business solutions. Drawing from his valuable experience as an in-house litigator and felony trial prosecutor, Grant's clients appreciate his commitment to understanding clients and their unique conditions.
Prior to joining the firm, Grant served as a litigator for two Fortune 500 insurance companies where he handled cases through each step of the litigation process. He also served as a felony trial prosecutor for the Rockwall County District Attorney's Office in Rockwall, Texas where he evaluated, investigated, indicted and tried felony cases, as well as served on the North Texas Regional Veterans Diversion Program.
Experience
From the discovery process through jury trial, Grant managed several high-risk litigation files for multiple Fortune 500 insurance companies, including the conducting of depositions and mediations.
He represented a physician medical director and "target" of a False Claims Act investigation, resulting in U.S. Attorney's Office closing its investigation against client.
During his years as a prosecuting attorney, Grant represented the State of Texas prosecuting numerous financial and theft-related crimes. He aided in pre-indictment forensic investigations spanning multiple agencies to support development of the most comprehensive cases possible. This prosecutorial experience affords Grant the ability to counsel clients in navigating complex issues regarding white collar crimes and investigations.
Valued by clients for his extensive courtroom experience and preparation, Grant has obtained multiple favorable jury verdicts in North Texas.
