Grant focuses his practice on real estate and public finance matters, working to resolve the full range of real estate issues and creating sustainable results for clients with diverse needs.
The majority of Grant's practice is dedicated to representing commercial and residential real estate developers from the inception of their projects through completion. He prioritizes tireless dedication to help his developer clients achieve their goals throughout negotiations, entitlement issues, financing, securitization and closing. Grant also has considerable experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases from both the tenant's and landlord's perspectives.
Grant's prior experience as a commercial litigator brings a strategic and valuable perspective to clients seeking representation involving real estate matters. His experience allows him to consider and prevent potential litigation issues related to developments before they arise.
Prior to joining the firm, Grant served as a litigator for two Fortune 500 insurance companies where he handled cases through each step of the litigation process. He also served as a felony trial prosecutor for the Rockwall County District Attorney's Office in Rockwall, Texas where he evaluated, investigated, indicted and tried felony cases.
Experience
Since joining the firm, Grant has managed and closed several hundred deals for developers throughout the Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri markets. He also routinely drafts and negotiates commercial leases across the country.
