Overview

Focusing on cross-border corporate and commercial transactions, Tobias acts as trusted U.S. general outside counsel to numerous internationally operating companies, family offices and individual investors.

With a client base throughout Europe, in addition to clients from Asia, Latin America and the U.S., Tobias represents a wide range of businesses and investors in connection with mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, private equity, joint ventures, and transactions involving the transfer of intellectual property and real estate.

Tobias has extensive experience in providing legal representation to start-up companies, particularly in the software and space-tech industries, from inception to exit. He frequently advises businesses and their executives on executive compensation, international taxation, and immigration matters.

He maintains close relationships with numerous legal and financial firms around the globe and is a member of the Board of the International Business Group (IBG) of Eurojuris International, one of the largest international networks of law firms with members in over 50 countries.

Tobias holds law degrees from Germany, France and the U.S., and is fluent in multiple languages.

Prior to joining Stinson, Tobias chaired the corporate and commercial transactions group for a national, full-service law firm.
