Overview
She represents debtors, secured lenders, equity holders, acquirers, and other stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of bankruptcy proceedings, helping clients navigate the strategic, procedural, and commercial considerations that arise in distressed situations. Maggie works across all phases of Chapter 11 matters, from case commencement and restructuring negotiations through plan confirmation, asset sales, and contested proceedings, tailoring her guidance to each client’s objectives in the case.
In addition to her restructuring practice, Maggie has experience handling complex commercial litigation and adversary proceedings in state and federal courts and arbitration forums. Her litigation background enhances her ability to manage contested bankruptcy matters and advocate effectively when disputes arise during insolvency proceedings.
Experience
Represented global golf business and certain of its subsidiaries in voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings, including securing DIP financing, maintaining operational continuity, resolving long-term funded indebtedness and litigation exposure, and preserving the company's businesses.
Represented cross-border logistics and domestic ecommerce parcel services providers in connection with their voluntary Chapter 11 cases.
Represented parent company with approximately $3.4 million in debt in Chapter 11 case of cryptocurrency lending firm as well as in BVI Liquidation Proceeding and Chapter 15 case of Singapore-based cryptocurrency hedge fund with approximately $3.5 billion in debt.
Represented Special Master appointed to conduct forced sale of shares in major U.S. refiner and marketer of transportation fuels, lubricants, and petrochemicals to satisfy billions of dollars of in unpaid judgments against Venezuela and certain of its instrumentalities.
Represented leading global provider of data center, colocation, and interconnection solutions in Chapter 11 cases of publicly traded global data center colocation and interconnection services provider.
