Overview

Luke is a strategic thinker who understands the demands of business. Luke strives to achieve excellent results for his clients and takes pride in prioritizing successful client outcomes through workable solutions. His practice focuses on labor and employment law and business litigation.

Luke represents and counsels clients on a variety of matters involving employment law and business litigation, including matters related to employee restrictive covenants, wage and hour issues, and employee complaints of discrimination. Luke also represents employers defending AIR21 whistleblower claims before OSHA and ALJs. He represents clients in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. Outside of litigation, he advises employers on employment, labor, and wage and hour issues.

Luke's experience includes drafting dispositive motions and appellate briefs before a number of courts. He has achieved successful outcomes for clients, including multiple recent summary judgement victories in federal court as well as summary decision in an administrative proceeding involving whistleblower claims. Luke litigates regularly and enjoys advocating for clients in all phases of litigation. Earlier in his career, Luke worked at a law firm in Northwest Florida where he represented employers and individuals in a variety of matters. Luke maintains law licenses in Kansas, Alabama, and Florida, and he continues to represent clients in Florida and Alabama courts. 

Luke maintains an active pro bono practice, and he has recently counseled Afghan nationals regarding immigration issues and drafted appellate briefs in an immigration matters in federal courts of appeal and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
