Jonathan works to maximize the value of his clients' mechanical, electrical and software inventions.

Overview

Jonathan devotes much of his practice to preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications for technologies related to medical devices, industrial automation software, industrial and residential control components, infrastructure repair solutions, refrigeration devices, fiber optics and packaging products.

During the early stages of product development, Jonathan works with his clients to quickly identify relevant third party intellectual property rights and assess industry trends to help clients avoid patent infringement. He is also experienced in preparing freedom to operate and invalidity opinions, as well as drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements, including portfolio reviews.
