Overview
Prior to joining the firm, she served as the minority counsel to the House Democratic Caucus in the Missouri House of Representatives. Here, her responsibilities included critical statutory analysis, focusing on areas of health care, insurance and professional registration and licensing.
During Alixandra’s tenure with the Missouri House of Representatives, she researched and drafted memos sent to House Democratic Caucus for legislation eligible for debate on the House floor. Alixandra also advised the House Democratic Caucus on legislative procedure, and legislation and amendment drafting.
Experience
During the 2018 legislative session, Alixandra served as minority counsel to the House Special Investigative Committee on Oversight, counseling the chairman and ranking minority member on legal and policy issues relating to the investigation of former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
