Stinson Adds Energy and Infrastructure Partner Nicolas McTyre in Washington, DC

Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Nicolas McTyre as a partner in the firm's Energy, Environmental, Mining and Transportation Practice Division. Based in Washington, DC, McTyre brings a multi-faceted background in energy project development, transactions and regulatory matters, drawing on experience as in-house counsel, outside counsel and with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. His broad perspective allows him to help clients navigate the legal, commercial and regulatory challenges that arise throughout an energy project's lifecycle.

McTyre advises clients on renewable energy and other infrastructure projects in the energy sector across all stages of development, financing, construction and operations, from early planning and commercial contracting to ongoing operational and compliance considerations. His work spans solar, wind, battery storage and other energy assets, with a focus on aligning market considerations with evolving regulatory frameworks.

McTyre also brings significant transactional experience, advising on project development, acquisitions and divestitures, financing and other strategic transactions involving energy infrastructure assets. He has advised developers, investors and energy companies on a broad range of commercial and strategic matters, helping clients identify risk, navigate transactional and regulatory considerations, and advance projects in a rapidly changing energy landscape.
