Fickel discusses the firm’s expansion to the West Coast and shares what drew him to the firm and its vision for the region.

"Any type of move like this is client driven," he said. "Stinson has a fantastic geographic reach, with offices in New York, Florida, Texas and also Phoenix, which is important to certain clients. They have world-class trusts and estates practices, which is an area that I have been looking to expand my practice into for the past couple of years and I’ve had client demand for."

Fickel brings more than two decades of litigation experience to Stinson’s Los Angeles office. Known for his trial-readiness and deep familiarity with California and federal courts, he enhances the firm’s capabilities on the West Coast.

"They were looking to have a courtroom- and trial-ready lawyer on the ground in California," he said of the firm. "To have someone like me who has been doing this in California for 20 years and has been in and out of the state and federal courts for that whole time is really important."

In addition to Fickel, Stinson’s Los Angeles office includes Partners Michael Wippler and Jeffery Huron.
