Overview

Drawing on more than two decades of experience, Tony works with financial institutions, businesses, and investors on commercial disputes, contract matters, and other high-value litigation. He is known for his ability to cut through complexity and provide practical guidance that supports sound decision-making in challenging situations.

Tony represents financial institutions and investors in litigation as plaintiff, defendant, and as neutral third party in a wide manner of disputes. He also helps these entities interpret and respond to attachment requests, subpoenas from private and governmental entities, and other legal orders.

Tony possesses significant experience in aiding creditors to enforce post-judgment remedies and collect commercial debt. He has extensive knowledge of post-judgment enforcement tools to assist clients in collecting when debtors fail to satisfy judgments. His work in this area has been recognized nationally.

Experience

Represented a leading national bank in litigation where a judgment creditor sought to attach the assets of the Republic of Argentina. 

Represented a leading national bank in an appeal of a garnishment dispute in Florida where his arguments helped establish important law clarifying the proper methods of service of process on banks in the state. 

Represented creditors on numerous occasions to foreclose commercial mortgages and enforce security interests in personal property, such as aircraft parts and fine artwork.

Managed over the years to collect tens of millions of dollars for his clients using various post-judgment collection methods. On one occasion, he levied a United States patent in order to collect a judgment for a client.
