Overview
Tommie's work in tax credit and impact finance is grounded in a practical understanding of commercial transactions, regulatory requirements, and the business goals that shape each matter. She approaches each engagement with curiosity and care, working to understand a client's objectives, identify the legal and operational considerations at issue, and deliver thoughtful, practical support that helps move transactions forward.
Tommie previously served as a summer associate at Stinson, where she drafted contracts for complex commercial transactions and authored detailed legal memoranda analyzing statutes and regulations. That experience strengthened her ability to translate detailed legal analysis into clear, useful guidance and to approach transactional work with close attention to both legal standards and client objectives.
While in law school, Tommie also gained valuable in-house experience at a global entertainment company and a leading energy company, where she reviewed, revised, and drafted commercial contracts and securities filings to ensure accuracy, legal and regulatory compliance, and alignment with company standards and objectives. These experiences sharpened her ability to work carefully with commercial agreements and regulatory requirements—skills she brings to tax credit and impact finance matters.
