Overview
Sara assists financial institutions and corporate clients in a wide range of business litigation matters involving commercial relationships and operational risk. Her experience includes disputes related to contracts, fraud allegations, real property issues, business torts, and government contracting matters. She also brings a background in bankruptcy and creditors' rights, with experience representing clients in complex chapter 11 proceedings involving prominent retail, restaurant, and hospitality companies.
Sara served as a law clerk in the Los Angeles Superior Court, where she evaluated motions, drafted bench memoranda, and advised on substantive and procedural issues. She also clerked for the United States District Court for the Central District of California, gaining additional exposure to federal litigation and courtroom practice. During law school, Sara gained additional experience through clerkships with the Office of the Maryland State Prosecutor.
Sara is fluent in Farsi.
