Sara Shahbazi

She is a litigation associate in Stinson's Irvine office. She represents financial institutions and other corporate clients in consumer financial services, business, and real property litigation in state and federal court, including fraud claims, contract disputes, and business torts. She has drafted successful dispositive motions, including a summary judgment motion granted with prejudice in federal court and several sustained demurrers, and has taken depositions. Sara also has bankruptcy and creditors' rights experience, including complex Chapter 11 matters. She has clerked at the Los Angeles Superior Court, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the Office of the Maryland State Prosecutor. Before law school, she worked on Capitol Hill.
