Kelsi advises clients on complex energy and infrastructure matters, with a focus on transactions and project development across the renewable energy sector.

Overview

Her practice centers on supporting the acquisition, development, financing, and operation of energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Drawing on her in-house experience with a utility-scale solar developer, Kelsi negotiates and structures a broad range of commercial agreements central to project execution, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, power purchase agreements (PPAs), supply agreements, service and operations agreements (SMAs and O&M agreements), financing documents, and other project-related arrangements. She partners closely with clients to navigate the contractual, regulatory and operational considerations that arise throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Prior to joining the firm, Kelsi represented financial institutions and corporate clients in a variety of financing transactions at nationally recognized law firms, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, acquisition financings, and debt restructurings. This background informs her practical, deal-oriented approach and her ability to align legal strategy with business objectives in complex energy engagements.
