Julia’s breadth of experience allows her to effectively meet clients' unique needs.
Julia’s clerkship with Judge Lisa Hayne of Minnesota District Court gave her valuable firsthand trial court experience. As a law clerk, she wrote orders and conducted research for civil, criminal, family and probate cases, assisted in all stages of jury trials, and facilitated settlement conferences in conciliation court.
Julia gained additional insight into the litigation process and judicial decision-making through internships during law school with Immigration Court judges, a federal district court judge, and an administrative judge at the EEOC. She also served as a summer associate with the firm. Julia handled appellate immigration cases as a student director in the University of Minnesota Law School’s Federal Immigration Litigation Clinic and is committed to maintaining a strong pro bono practice.
