Overview
Jennifer's practice bridges science, law and policy, with a particular emphasis on health law, medtech and bioethics. She is ready to assist clients with corporate practice of medicine, health information privacy and regulatory compliance matters.
With a Ph.D. in neuroscience, Jennifer's cross-disciplinary knowledge fuels her interest in the connections between law and science and helps her translate scientific concepts to diverse audiences. She has published articles on topics ranging from the regulation of human-animal hybrids to the clinical effects of non-lethal chemical agents. Her doctoral research focused on the contribution of the alpha-synuclein protein to normal neuronal functioning, with particular attention on behavioral and mechanistic differences between sexes.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Jennifer worked as a Research Fellow at Burke Medical Research Institute and served as a SciPol Scholar Fellow at a full-service government relations firm. Jennifer was also a two-time Stinson summer associate.
