Overview
Hunter assists real estate clients in a range of transactional matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development-related work. Before joining Stinson's Real Estate and Public Finance team, he advised clients on corporate finance matters, where he supported a variety of complex transactions involving structuring, due diligence, and negotiation. His background provides him with a strong foundation in transactional analysis, enhancing his ability to evaluate and support complex real estate transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Hunter worked as a law clerk for various businesses, including a Fortune 500 financial services company where he gained valuable experience in a variety of legal areas.

Mergers & Acquisitions
Assisted in the acquisition of a casino and internet gambling operator by a publicly traded, multi-jurisdictional gaming company.
Helped advise an acquisition by Hodgdon Powder Company in its acquisition of RCBS Reloading from Revelyst, a segment of Vista Outdoor (NYSE: VSTO).
Acted as lead associate advising on the sell-side carveout and disposition of a cannabis FinTech platform.
Assisted in the divestiture of a nationwide trucking finance firm.
Acted as lead associate in the sale of a health FinTech company.
Public Companies, Securities & Capital Markets
Assisted in a Rule 144A / Regulation S offering of $700 million aggregate principal amount of high-yield senior notes and concurrent $600 million cash tender offer for existing senior notes for an integrated transportation services company operating short line railroads and ports in the United States, Australia, Canada and Mexico.
Advised on public company senior debt offerings of more than $1.5 billion.

Assisted in transactions in restructuring and structured transactions for a variety of financial sponsors and other investors including the restructuring of a technology and media private investment fund.
Part of deal team who represented The Andersons, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANDE) in an acquisition of a majority ownership in Skyland Grain, LLC.
Lead associate in advising an integration transportation services company in multiple preferred and common equity issuances of over $1.5 billion.
Assisted in representing a client in $450 million structured investment in a leading manufacturer and supplier of commemorative products.
