Clients turn to Dominic when they needs a skilled labor and employment attorney. He has seen numerous clients through depositions and the most difficult legal challenges.

Overview

Clients and peers share with Chambers USA, where he is ranked as a leading lawyer, that Dominic is “an exceptional labor lawyer,” thanks to his extensive experience with National Labor Relations Board trials, labor arbitrations and labor contract negotiations. He counsels unionized employees on strategies to dealing with organized labor, and helps non-union employers maintain that status by employing positive workforce relations practices.

Having run his own business prior to law school, Dominic knows firsthand what employers face when it comes to managing a workforce. He brings a practical, relatable approach, whether he is counseling clients or providing seminars to employers on developments in the field.

Experience

Dominic has represented regional, national and international businesses in NLRB trials, labor arbitrations and labor negotiations. He counsels clients on employment law, and maintains an active litigation practice in state and federal courts and before a range of regulatory agencies.

A strong proponent of maintaining positive workforce relations, Dominic spends considerable time counseling non-union employers how to maintain their non-union status, believing that the easiest labor disputes to solve are those that don’t arise.

In his pro bono practice, Dominic devotes significant time to representing children through the Children’s Law Center of Minnesota, where he is a member of the board of directors. The center provides free legal services for youth in foster care.
