Diana combines her legal and business backgrounds to help clients structure and finance complex real estate development projects.
Overview
Diana assists developers, investors and other stakeholders with structuring and financing development projects, including those involving federal and state tax incentives. Her experience includes matters involving New York's Brownfield Redevelopment Tax Credit (BRTC) and the federal Investment Tax Credit, as well as transactions supporting affordable housing developments.
She has worked on projects involving a variety of ownership and financing structures, including LLCs, C and S corporations, nonprofit entities, REITs and institutional investors. Diana approaches each matter with a practical understanding of both the legal and business considerations that drive successful projects.
During law school, Diana served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Frederick J. Scullin Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, where she gained valuable insight into the judicial process and legal decision-making.
