Overview

Caroline assists individuals and families in developing personalized solutions for estate planning, estate administration, and estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters. Caroline’s experience ranges from drafting essential estate planning documents such as wills, revocable trusts, and powers of attorney, to drafting and administering complex trusts, lifetime gifting vehicles, and gift tax compliance. Caroline also provides counsel in estate administration matters, providing thorough and tailored advice for trustees and families.  

Before joining the firm as an associate, Caroline gained valuable legal experience as a summer associate at Stinson. Caroline was also a student attorney and student director for the Ronald M. Mankoff Tax Clinic at the University of Minnesota Law School. In the clinic, Caroline represented low-income individuals with their income tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and the Minnesota Department of Revenue, which included participating in settlement negotiations, preparing administrative appeals and litigating in the United States Tax Court.
