Overview
Anne Marie is experienced in working with employers on a variety of labor and employment issues. Anne Marie counsels on and litigates issues ranging from discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, whistleblower claims, disabilities and related leaves, reasonable accommodations, sick/family leave and related policies, separation and noncompetition agreements, and traditional labor law issues.
In addition to her work on litigated employment disputes, Anne Marie counsels employers on employment practices, including personnel policies (e.g., handbook drafting and review), complaint investigations, disability accommodations, the interactive process and leaves of absence.
Complementary to her work on arbitrated labor disputes, Anne Marie advises employers on maintaining positive employee relations in unionized and non-unionized environments—with an emphasis on training employers across various industries on positive employee relations and general labor relations topics. In addition, Anne Marie aids employers in responding to a variety of labor issues including union campaigns for representation, contract interpretation, union grievances and unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board.
