Overview
Andrew has experience assisting clients in a variety of litigation matters, including those involving financial services, real estate, corporate governance, bankruptcy, and products liability. Prior to joining Stinson, Andrew interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri in the White Collar and Civil Divisions.
Andrew has assisted clients across all stages of litigation, including legal research, document review, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Experience
Drafted motions to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction, Golden Rule letters, motions for summary judgment, Daubert motion, motions in limine, and jury instructions. Also performed legal and factual citation reviews to finalize briefs and appendices.
Performed legal research covering issues, including standards of review, claim elements, personal jurisdiction, and admissibility of evidence.
Performed comprehensive document review, developed review protocols and led a document review team. The documents covered a range of legal matters, including financial services and bankruptcy litigation, real estate disputes related to title and construction, intellectual property related to trademark infringement for construction products, and employment issues related to non-compete and non-solicitation disputes.
Drafted discovery requests and responses in bankruptcy cases, federal and state court real estate litigation, financial services litigation, construction disputes in various venues, and products liability cases related to asbestos and toxic flavorings.
Conducted depositions in an employment case involving a non-compete and non-solicitation dispute as well as in product liability matters concerning toxic flavorings. He also assisted in the defense of witnesses and witness preparation.
Prepared for and participated in trial, including preparing witnesses, drafting motions in limine, and helping select the evidence to be used. He also argued a motion to an administrative board.
Second-chaired and argued motions in successful Civil Service Commission quasi-trial of St. Louis City's Director of Personnel, in the first proceeding of its kind to ever take place in St. Louis City's history, which resulted in the removal of Director of Personnel for the City of St. Louis.

Worked on post-conviction relief motions
Supported suit on behalf of members of non-profit local radio station, resulting in appointment of client as board member.
