Andrew crafts comprehensive tax credit solutions for businesses across multiple industries.
Overview
Andrew represents tax credit investors, community development entities, community development financial institutions, and project business owners pursing tax-credit financing to infuse public funds into local communities and build lasting improvements across our great nation.
As a transactional tax credit attorney, Andrew uses his experience as a tax-generalist to comply with underlying tax principles that cannot be found in the tax code. Before joining Stinson, he worked at a boutique tax law firm in Washington, DC where he focused his practice on federal tax matters, including federal income tax planning, nonprofit entity formation and compliance, audit defense, tax refund litigation, and international tax compliance.
Prior to beginning his legal practice, Andrew served in the United States Navy for ten years as a Naval Aviator where he honed his critical analysis and risk assessment skills. He flew missions over Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve at the onset of conflict with ISIS and ended his naval career after serving as an aircraft carrier catapult and arresting gear officer.
