Wichita Business Journal Names Ehrlich to 2026 Women in Business Awards

Stinson LLP Partner Alisa Nickel Ehrlich has been selected for inclusion in Wichita Business Journal’s 2026 Women in Business Awards, which recognizes women business leaders who have demonstrated professional excellence, leadership and impact within the Wichita community. Ehrlich is one of 35 women recognized in this year’s honors.

In her Women in Business profile, Ehrlich reflected on the early challenges of building credibility in the legal profession. “Early in my career, establishing credibility in rooms, including court rooms, where I was often the only woman, was a challenge that ultimately shaped my professional approach,” she said. “While I came to expect being underestimated, spoken over, or overlooked, those experiences provided an opportunity to persist, and taught me the importance of speaking with authority and confidence without sacrificing the authentic approach that I believed best served me and my clients.”

Ehrlich also emphasized that many of her most meaningful professional accomplishments have come through work that is not always visible. While she has successfully represented clients in employment and commercial disputes, she takes particular pride in helping businesses proactively address issues before they escalate into litigation. As she noted in her profile, “my proudest accomplishments are often the lawsuits that are never filed,” reflecting her focus on helping clients resolve issues through proactive guidance and compliance.

Ehrlich advises businesses on a wide range of employment law issues, including risk mitigation, policy creation and litigation. Her experience spans the gamut of employee laws, and she serves clients across various industries, including higher education, hospitality, energy and transportation, manufacturing and distribution, health care and banking.
