Stinson's Murray Silverstein Chosen as Florida Bar Foundation's New President
Stinson LLP Partner Murray Silverstein has been installed as president of The Florida Bar Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing greater access to justice through funding for legal aid and improvements in the administration of justice.
"It's an honor to be able to continue to serve the Foundation and Florida's legal community, in addition to serving individuals and communities who lack the resources to champion the cause of justice," Silverstein said. "The opportunity to play a central role in providing access to justice and opportunity for all is not one to take lightly. I look forward to continuing the efforts of expanding innovative pro bono initiatives and removing barriers to living stable and productive lives."

He has served on the Foundation's Board of Directors since 2015, and was chair of the Technology Committee from 2019 to 2022, in addition to serving as a member on a variety of other Foundation committee and commissions. He maintains an active pro bono practice and is the past recipient of the William Reece Smith Jr. Public Service Award, The Florida Bar President's Award of Merit and The Florida Bar President's Pro Bono Service Award.
