Stinson's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Attorneys' Three-Part Series Selected to "Best of ABI" Book
Stinson LLP Partner Thomas J. Salerno and attorney Clarissa Brady's three-part series, "In Defense of Third-Party Releases in Chapter 11 Cases," has been selected for inclusion in the Best of ABI 2022: The Year in Business Bankruptcy.
The articles detail the current debate over propriety of pre-bankruptcy conduct releases in bankruptcy cases. The articles also examine why some pre-bankruptcy conduct releases are less objectionable than others and explain the importance of timely economic returns to constituents in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
The American Bankruptcy Institute's (ABI) "Best of ABI" books gather what ABI believes to be the best and most informative ABI Journal articles highlighting the top trends in business and consumer bankruptcy from 2022.
Salerno brings global experience and out-of-the-box solutions to his work with complex commercial corporate restructurings, helping distressed, often high-profile companies find new paths forward. He is a frequent writer, lecturer and presenter, and is active in leadership in the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Brady focuses her practice on bankruptcy litigation, representing unsecured creditor committees, corporate debtors, trustees and banks. She is dedicated to helping her clients find solutions when it comes to restructuring.
