Stinson Welcomes Real Estate and Public Finance Attorney Cody Rogers to DC Office

Stinson LLP is pleased to announce that Cody S. Rogers has joined the firm's Washington, D.C. office as a partner in the Tax Credit Finance practice group. Rogers brings with him a wealth of experience in community development finance and New Markets Tax Credit transactions. He has significant experience assisting investors, lenders, community development entities, and project developers close transactions that qualify for federal and state new markets tax credits and other federal, state, and local initiatives. He has represented clients on a wide array of projects including rural broadband projects, manufacturing facilities, farmers' cooperatives, charter schools, nonprofits and community centers, children's hospitals, and homeless shelters.

"I am thrilled to be joining a dynamic group of attorneys at Stinson and to continue my work in the community development world focused on New Markets Tax Credit projects," said Rogers. "I view my role as not only an advocate for my clients but a champion for the communities where the projects are located."

Rogers' practice focuses on lenders, investors, nonprofits, community development entities and developers in New Markets Tax Credit transactions. He has significant experience supporting diverse clients with unique funding needs and opportunities.  

Rogers is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia. He received his J.D. from University of Virginia Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah.
