Stinson Elevates Amanda Laufer to Partner to Support its Growing California and National Labor Practice

Stinson LLP is pleased to announce that Amanda Laufer has been elected to the firm's partnership to support the firm's growing California and national labor practice. She joined the firm's Los Angeles office in June 2025.

Laufer focuses her practice on labor relations, union representation matters, internal investigations and workplace compliance, including delivering day-to-day legal advice on sensitive labor and employment matters. Drawing on more than a decade of experience with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), she advises employers on navigating complex labor and employment issues, managing risk and resolving disputes in an evolving regulatory landscape.

Her presence in California further strengthens the firm's labor and employment platform on the West Coast, enhancing Stinson's ability to advise clients with operations in one of the nation's most complex and closely regulated labor environments. Her experience provides additional depth for employers facing California-specific and multi-jurisdictional workforce issues.

Laufer's background on the enforcement side of labor law provides clients with practical insight into agency priorities and procedures. She has experience investigating unfair labor practice charges, conducting union elections, litigating labor disputes and negotiating settlements, and she leverages that experience to counsel employers on preventative compliance strategies, workplace policies and sensitive employment matters before disputes arise.

Laufer earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and her B.S. from Northwestern University.
