Stinson Earns 2026 WTR 1000 Recognition for Minneapolis Trademark Practice

Stinson LLP's Intellectual Property and Technology practice has once again been recognized by the World Trademark Review (WTR) in the 2026 WTR 1000, with the firm's Minneapolis office earning a "Bronze" ranking and two attorneys named as recommended individuals.

The ranking reflects the strength and scale of Stinson's trademark practice. In 2025 alone, the firm's attorneys submitted more than 330 trademark applications and currently manage more than 12,200 active trademark applications and registrations.

Partners Joel Leviton and Ruth Rivard are also recognized in the 2026 WTR 1000 as leading practitioners and recommended individuals in their fields, earning recognition in the United States: Minnesota "Silver" band.

Leviton helps businesses protect their brands worldwide, managing trademark portfolios for Fortune 500 companies and businesses in industries ranging from medical devices and consumer products to interactive entertainment and apparel. He advises on trademark selection, registration, enforcement and false advertising. Leviton also has extensive experience litigating trademarks, copyrights and domain name disputes.

An intellectual property attorney and trial attorney, Rivard provides hands-on advice to clients regarding securing and enforcing their intellectual property rights. She represents clients in a wide array of industries such as banking, agribusiness, insurance, health care, food products, media and advertising. Rivard also provides guidance on a client's branding, marketing and advertising matters, including trademark clearance and registration.
