Schemenauer Named to Minnesota Lawyer's Real Estate and Construction Law "POWER 30" List
Stinson LLP Partner Stephen Schemenauer has been named to Minnesota Lawyer's "POWER 30" list for real estate and construction law. Having been an inaugural POWER 30 honoree in 2021, this is the second year Schemenauer has made the list.
In his POWER 30 feature profile, Schemenauer discussed the current challenges facing the industry, as well as his unique perspective regarding the intersection and import of cybersecurity and drone usage in the real estate and construction law industry.
The POWER 30 examines and highlights those whose mere presence on a case signifies the stakes, who have significantly influenced the direction of the law, whose leadership in the community is pervasive, and whose respect within the bar is undeniable. To select the honorees, Minnesota Lawyer interviewed respected attorneys and other leaders throughout the state, reviewed outcomes of numerous significant cases, and consulted the publication’s archives to recognize accomplished, powerful and influential real estate and construction attorneys.
Schemenauer represents owners, developers, contractors (of all tiers), engineers, design professionals, suppliers, and manufacturers nationwide in a multitude of complex construction law and real estate matters. He is a Brigadier General in the Minnesota Army National Guard, where he serves as the Deputy Director of Intelligence for U.S. Cyber Command and as the Deputy Commanding General of the 34th Infantry Division (Red Bulls). Additionally, Schemenauer chairs the firm's Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Autonomous Vehicles practice group and co-chairs the firm's Construction practice group.
