Routhier Elected as Fellow to the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel
Stinson LLP Partner Lauren Routhier has been elected as a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a distinguished association of leading practitioners who have made outstanding contributions to the practice of trust and estate law.
Routhier was selected by her peers to join ACTEC, an international organization of lawyers who demonstrate the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and expertise in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning, probate, trust administration and related practice areas.
"This marks a milestone in your career. This was not an honor that was bestowed on you — it was something you earned," ACTEC President Meg Lodise said. "Admission to the College is recognition of your accomplishments and acknowledgment by your peers that you belong in an organization of the best and brightest."
Routhier advises individuals, families and closely held businesses on sophisticated estate planning, tax, and succession strategies. Her practice includes tax planning, business succession planning, charitable giving, prenuptial agreements, estate administration, and disputed probate and trust matters. She is a qualified mediator, which informs her approach to resolving disputes around some of life's most challenging events.
Founded in 1949, ACTEC brings together top lawyers in the profession to maintain a high quality of trust and estate legal services through mutual education, to foster networking among those lawyers, and to contribute to the improvement of the areas of law in which trust and estate lawyers practice.
