Bayles Shares Legal Market Perspective in Law Week Colorado
Law Week Colorado included commentary from Stinson LLP Denver Office Managing Partner Deborah Bayles in its annual "Colorado Practice Insights 2025" survey, which examines key trends shaping the state's legal market.
The feature highlights how Colorado firms navigated evolving economic conditions in 2025, with respondents pointing to steady litigation activity, increased complexity across practice areas, and heightened client expectations around value and responsiveness.
Bayles, a member of Stinson's banking and financial services practice group, noted that client activity strengthened as the year progressed, particularly in financing and transactional work. She also observed a shift in client engagement, explaining that "clients are engaging earlier, asking more questions and preparing for a range of scenarios."
She added that Colorado's mid-level office and retail sectors "remain comparatively healthy," while litigation volumes stayed steady, especially in commercial and employment matters. The article also highlights Stinson's strategic expansion into California, which Bayles said "will help us better serve existing clients and attract new ones, including Colorado clients whose needs are national in scope."
Bayles advises lenders on a variety of secured loan and lease transactions, including those related to ESOPs and bank holding companies. She also guides business clients through entity formation, acquisitions and succession planning. Her extensive experience in real estate finance and general business operations allows her to effectively assist clients through all stages of a real estate project.
