World Trademark Review Recognizes Stinson's Trademark Leadership

Stinson LLP partners Joel Leviton and Ruth Rivard were once again recognized as 2020 Minnesota “leading practitioners” in trademark law by the World Trademark Review 1000: The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals (WTR). The Stinson Minneapolis office was specifically highlighted as one of Minnesota’s leading trademark practices.

This is the eighth year Leviton has been selected as an IP leading practitioner, and the fourth year for Rivard.

According to the WTR, Leviton is “the archetypal trusted adviser” who “works hand in glove with in-house trademark counsel not just to protect existing brands, but also to conceive and launch new ones.” This honor recognizes Leviton's experience in counseling Fortune 500 companies and multinational clients in the entertainment, apparel, software and pharmaceutical industries. He provides global brand protection strategies and advises on trademarks in the U.S. and abroad.

The WTR described Rivard as “the ultimate professional and a highly effective advocate for her client who is nonetheless fair and reasonable to deal with on the other side.” Rivard assists clients in maintaining and protecting their intellectual property, while providing creative and thoughtful branding strategies worldwide.
