Stinson Ranks in American Lawyer's Pro Bono Annual Survey
The American Lawyer recently released its 2021 National Pro Bono Rankings of the nation's 200 highest-grossing firms. Stinson LLP is pleased to announce that the firm was ranked No. 60 for legal services donated in 2021. Scores are assigned based on two factors: the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer in 2021 and the percentage of lawyers who performed more than 20 hours of pro bono work in 2021. Last year, Stinson attorneys donated on average 53 hours to pro bono, with 56 percent of attorneys donating 20 or more hours to pro bono.
"Pro bono is a core value of our firm. Our pro bono work gives us the opportunity to share our time and talent with those most in need in our communities," said Allison Murdock, Stinson's managing partner. "We are proud of the many hours Stinson devoted to pro bono in 2021, and we are dedicated to continuing to serve the legal needs of our communities and our pro bono clients."
Stinson's pro bono program is driven by the firm's Pro Bono Committee and implemented by Pro Bono Director Theresa Hughes and Pro Bono Manager Katie Cronin. The firm's strategic plan expects all partners to contribute to the firm's pro bono legal work and community service.
