Stinson Certified as a Healthy KC Initiative Business

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Healthy KC Initiative has recognized Stinson for its commitment to wellness in the workplace. The firm was one of 132 businesses and organizations certified for keeping their workforce healthy in 2020 while facing the COVID-19 pandemic, remote workforce challenges, and an increased need in mental health services.

The Healthy KC Workplace Wellness Certification program recognizes area organizations for innovation and excellence in promoting a culture of health in the workplace. Certifications are based on five pillars of health: healthy eating, active living, tobacco cessation, work-life integration, and design-built environment. This year’s certification had a specific focus on what policies and measures businesses implemented to ensure the health and wellbeing of their workforce, as well as creating a more inclusive and equitable environment addressing mental health.
