Sharon Ng Selected as Stinson's 2021 D&I Champion Award Winner

Stinson LLP is excited to announce that Partner Sharon Ng has been selected as the firm's 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award winner. This annual award celebrates attorneys at the firm who go above and beyond to advance diversity both internally at the firm, in their communities and in the profession.

Sharon has consistently taken steps to advance attorneys of color including serving as co-chair of the firm's Attorneys of Color Employee Resource Group for over three years. She also played an integral role in launching the firm's annual Diversity Week seven years ago and helped to create the Phoenix office Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Sharon has led numerous trainings on unconscious bias and diversity in law. She recently co-authored an article highlighting the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on African Americans, Hispanics and other non-white populations, and the need for employers to respond in a timely and empathic way.

In her practice, Sharon represents businesses in commercial disputes where she has a robust employment practice in addition to a class action defense practice. She effectively defends employers in workplace disputes and provides hands-on guidance in employment law to human resource professionals. She focuses on complex commercial and civil litigation for small and mid-sized businesses, healthcare companies, technology start-ups, international companies, major financial institutions, and insurance companies.
