Hispanic National Bar Association Honors Manzanares with Regional President of the Year Award

Stinson LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Elsa Manzanares has been recognized by the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) with the 2022 HNBA Regional President of the Year Award.

The HNBA Regional President of the Year Award recognizes the achievements of an HNBA member who has demonstrated a record of leadership on the HNBA Board of Governors as well as a commitment to the mission of the HNBA that has brought honor and recognition to the organization.

"We are recognizing one of our outstanding HNBA regional presidents, Elsa Manzanares from Region XII, whose tireless work and commitment to our mission continue to advance the causes of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the profession and our society," HNBA National President Carlos Bollar said.

The cornerstones of the HNBA's mission include providing resources for the advancement and professional development of HNBA members and sponsors, supporting the recruitment, retention and elevation of Hispanic individuals in law schools, law firms, corporations, the judiciary and government, and advocating for solutions that affect the Hispanic community. The HNBA's 19 regional presidents work to ensure the execution of the association's local, regional and national programs. Region XII includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Manzanares advises clients on U.S. and international regulations on the import and export of goods, services, software, and technology, and she represents clients in numerous industries, including aerospace, electronics, firearms, chemicals, consumer products and energy. In addition to serving as HNBA Region XII President for the last four years, Manzanares also currently serves as President of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association Board of Directors.

Manzanares will be honored at the HNBA awards reception during the HNBA 2022 Annual Convention on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
