Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Partner Joins Stinson in Minneapolis

Stinson LLP welcomes Partner Christopher (C.J.) Harayda to the firm's Minneapolis office. Harayda has joined the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Division.

Harayda's practice centers on bankruptcy, restructuring, distressed transactions, and commercial and financial litigation. He is a skilled litigator and transactional advisor, making him uniquely equipped to handle a broad array of bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring matters.

Harayda brings over a decade of experience representing creditors, lessors, creditor committees, debtors, franchisors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings across the country. His representation spans multiple industries, including banks and alternative lending, agribusiness, mining and minerals, equipment supply and leasing, franchising, manufacturing, energy, and retail. Harayda's experience also includes counseling clients regarding loan and debt transactions, rights and remedies enforcement, and corporate trust and indenture issues.

Prior to joining Stinson, Harayda was a finance and restructuring partner in the Minneapolis office of a multinational law firm.

Harayda received his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and his B.S. in marketing and management from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and multiple U.S. Bankruptcy Courts across the nation.
