Attorney at Work Interviews Stinson's Managing Partner About Firm Successes and Future Plans

Stinson LLP Managing Partner Allison Murdock is featured in an Attorney at Work "You at Work Spotlight" in celebration of Women's History Month.  

In "Q&A With Allison Murdock: Stepping Up as Stinson LLP’s Managing Partner," Murdock highlights the firm's successes from 2022, the importance of having diverse voices in leadership roles, and details growth and expansion goals for the firm in the coming years.

"Perhaps our most significant accomplishment was the development and approval of the firm's new strategic plan," Murdock says. "The plan focuses on the growth of Stinson's existing offices and expansion of our geographic footprint, ensuring that our attorneys have the resources necessary to thrive personally and professionally, strengthening existing client relationships, developing new ones, and improving matter management."

Murdock also highlights the significance of women in leadership roles at the firm and the future of women in the legal profession. "Stinson has long recognized the importance of having diverse voices and points of view in leadership roles. These perspectives help us better serve our clients and make us a stronger, more successful firm," she says. "The path to prominent leadership roles for women and other diverse attorneys requires the opportunity to develop excellent legal and business skills and the opportunity to demonstrate those skills."

Murdock serves as the managing partner of Stinson LLP and holds ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the firm's operations and performance, including development and implementation of the firm's strategic initiatives. Her focus is on leading and growing a client-focused and community-engaged firm. In addition to serving as the firm's managing partner, Murdock is a member of its board of directors and executive committee.
