Press Release
03.06.2023

Stinson LLP Partner Christina Arnone has been selected by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to participate in the 2023 Fellows program. Stinson attorneys Kristen Ellis Johnson and Jessica Knox have been selected by LCLD to participate in the 2023 Pathfinders program.

LCLD's Fellows program is designed for attorneys with eight to 15 years of experience in the legal profession. The intensive, year-long professional development program connects high-potential attorneys with leading general counsel, managing partners and their peers for mentoring and career guidance, and to participate in training sessions focused on professional and personal development, relationship-building and leadership training.

LCLD's Pathfinders program is designed for early-career attorneys considered to be emerging leaders within their organization and the legal profession. The seven-month, multifaceted program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, leadership and relationship-building skills and professional development strategies. Pathfinders are also provided the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession and career development experts.

"Christina, Jessica and Kristen each have shown an incredible and steadfast commitment to building a more diverse culture and inclusive community at Stinson and in the legal profession. I am thrilled to see these women work and learn from some of the most impactful and talented leaders in the industry, and look forward to their contributions as we continue to grow a culture that values all backgrounds and perspectives," Stinson's Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer Ann Jenrette-Thomas said.

Arnone litigates insurance disputes on behalf of businesses. She helps businesses manage risk by ensuring appropriate insurance coverage, advocating to maximize coverage in the event of an insured loss, and suing insurers when they refuse to provide coverage. She has more than a decade of experience representing financial institutions, product manufacturers, property developers, commercial real estate owners and investors, REITs, landlords, tenants and contractors, in business disputes with their insurance companies. She also assists businesses in negotiating insurance and indemnity provisions in commercial contracts and regularly advises businesses during policy placement and at renewal.

Johnson's experience navigating complex environmental and transportation regulations allow her to quickly get answers companies need to manage risks and develop comprehensive strategies to achieve their goals. She is a full-service environmental practitioner, representing clients across sectors and provides counseling on day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.

Knox is a litigation associate who assists clients with complex business and commercial matters. She has a comprehensive understanding on issues relating to construction, real estate, property tax and premise liability.

LCLD is one of the nation's leading organizations promoting diversity and consists of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners – the leadership of the profession – who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. LCLD works to promote inclusiveness in their organizations, the community and society, with the ultimate goal of building a more equitable and diverse legal profession.
