Lowell Stortz is the chair of Stinson Leonard Street LLP. He practices in the firm’s Estate Planning and Charitable Gift Planning groups, advising individuals and businesses in the areas of tax, business and estate planning, and trust and estate administration. He also advises nonprofit organizations on donor gift programs and nonprofit corporate issues. Lowell has been active in providing legal advice and business counsel to many charities serving those in need in the Twin Cities community. He served as adjunct professor of estate planning at University of Minnesota Law School (1990), Hamline University School of Law (2003) and University of St. Thomas School of Law (2004).
