Overview
For more than three decades, Sherman has been collaborating with his clients on their construction projects. His experience includes handling litigation, arbitration, mediations and drafting and negotiating contracts and other construction-related documents for public and private projects.
Sherman has tackled any number of claims that arise in the construction context, including government and private contract claims, construction defects, breach of warranty, bid protests, bid mistakes, claims for delay and inefficiency, differing site conditions, extra work, Miller Act and other payment and performance bond claims, and mechanic's lien claims.
Sherman helps his clients establish project management procedures to mitigate their risks during construction projects.
Clients frequently look to him as an arbitrator or mediator to resolve complex disputes. Sherman is an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.
