Parthy is a highly respected attorney with a stellar reputation for her environmental work. She advises both public and private groups on a range of matters with specific strength in relation to regulatory compliance.
Clients include Parthy on their core teams as an environmental law strategist and counselor because of the experience and understanding she brings to bear in "bet-the-company" matters. Experienced in the environmental, energy, natural resources and agriculture sectors, Parthy advises on environmental regulatory and administrative matters, pre-litigation settlements, internal investigations, corporate and property transactions and water rights issues.
Well known in the environmental arena, Parthy’s knowledge of and involvement in federal and state legislation and rulemaking establish her as a go-to attorney for electric generating utilities, agribusiness, mining, pipeline and manufacturing clients. She has handled complex permitting and enforcement defense matters under the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act in many states and EPA regions, settled significant environmental enforcement matters under the water, air and hazardous waste laws, and created provisions for successfully quantifying and managing environmental risk and liabilities in corporate and property transactions.
Parthy served as environmental counsel for public utilities with multiple electric steam generating plants. She was due diligence counsel for a wholesale coal-fired plant development and environmental and siting counsel for new coal-fired construction by public and private utilities.
Parthy is driven to find solutions in agribusiness. She served as environmental counsel for a top five beef processor, having plants in multiple states. Parthy is also the author of an Environmental Management System for a beef processor with facilities in four states.
She has significant experience with water rights matters, including as water rights and supply counsel for three major slaughterhouses, and Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act enforcement defense for production processing facilities.
Skilled in energy and natural resource development, Parthy has served as water rights and wastewater discharge counsel for major oil refinery and fertilizer facilities, as well as Clean Water Act counsel for an ethanol facility and mining company.
Parthy served as environmental counsel for a manufacturer with multiple facilities including a Mexican operation and pipeline company.
